Bye-Bye Super Beasts!!!

Kaden had his last Little Gym class today ("Super-Beasts" is the name of his age group for those of you who thought that was kinda weird ). I have loved pretty much every minute of this class! His teacher Miss Kim was so awesome with the kids. Especially Kaden who has a really hard time having anyone help him other than his family or people he knows really well. They learn all kinds of skills in the gym, sings songs, learn to take turns, all kinds of things. It wasn't quite the same with Rylee gone :-( but I am so glad we took the class! I would recommend it to anyone!

I Need to CatCH UP!

On my blogging! We have had a lot of things going on that I want to post about but I have been bloggin lazy!!!! Payton was blessed a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful! She is getting so big, we had her 2 month appt. and she was 14.5 pounds! Not quite as big as Kaden (he was 16.8 pounds at 2 months) but she is sure getting there :-) Mothers day was so great, James bought me a new camera that I am super excited to use! And a lot of other things, you know how it is when you have a blog. Everything is like; Oh! I want to blog about that! And then at least for me, I nag myself constantly until I get it done. Anyways I am rambling but more posts/pictures to come tomorrow!

Best Friends!

We got together tonight to watch the Jazz Game and Kaden and Ava had their matching D-Will Jersies on. They have such a funny bond, I love watching the two of them play

St. George!!!

Wow, I have been craving the sun for soooo long so it was wonderful to head down to St. George with the Bell's and the Olsen's for a little weekend getaway. The guys in our neighborhood had a golf tournament Friday and Saturday so Kira, Lacey and I just hung out at the pool with the kids! The weather was absolutely perfect! I wish I lived down there I love St. George so much! Plus it gave me and Kira an excuse to play dress up with our girls and get them in their swim suits :-)

Payton was an angel at the pool, she just relaxed and slept the entire time

Kaden had so much fun playing golf and swimming, although it was sooooo packed at the pool I think he was a little overwhelmed by the hundreds of kids everywhere. He needed a buddy! Mom isn't that fun at the pool I guess.
Kira, Lacey and me! No trip to St. George would be complete without a trip the the Pizza Factory ( much to James' dismay)

Back at home and reunited with his buddy Mokie, getting some long overdue lovin'

Good Luck Heidi!

My cute little sis Heidi just left to Ecuador to a humanitarian project for a few months. She will be working with little kids in several different orphanages and all different ages. What a neat thing! She is such a kind, compassionate person I know the kids will looooove her to death. Love ya Heidi, we will miss you!

CAtchinG UP

Kaden had so much fun at Ava's 3rd birthday party! Rylee was spinning him and Ava around on the chair and that was a Blast!
Kaden is obsessed with golfing every time he goes over to my parents house. This day he ran out without asking, and without clothes obviously.....you can't tell from the picture but it was freezing outside that day! Kids are pretty oblivious to the weather I think.
Hmmmm, not quite right
That's a better fit!

Happy Birthday Dad!

My Dad just celebrated his 49th birthday, and as usual we headed to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. I was just wondering if anyone else's family is also obsessed with this restaurant It has been a staple with the Cook's for as long as I can remember and I just want to know if anyone else craves it like me??? For the last birthday which happened to be the Quad's, we did something a little out of the ordinary and went to Flemings, which for anyone who has never been there is a really nice and pricey I might add, steakhouse at the Gateway. Well it was fun and great but I think everyone was secretly wishing they were at the Spaghetti Factory. Maybe it is just the carb lovin', spumoni eatin' family we are! Oh well, it is cheap and everyone leaves happy.

Heidi and Payton

Kaden had to have some candles in his ice cream too, so he could blow them out like Grandpa

Happy Birthday Dad, your the best!!!!!!

Husband Tag!

Ok, got this tag from Lindsay so here I go!

1. What is your husband's name? James Morzelewski

2. Who eats more? Sadly, most of the time it is me. I eat a lot faster so I usually end up scarfing more than my hubby.

3. Who said I love you first? James! We were Juniors in High School, in Colin Kents backyard on his tramp. James was writing things on my back with his hand and he wrote "I love you". So sweet, those were the days!

4. Who is taller? James is, well except when I am wearing really tall shoes!

5. Who is smarter? Hmmmm, not quite sure I guess it just depends on what you need to know!

6. Who is more sensitive? ME! Maybe a little too sensitive sometimes James might say...
7. Who does the laundry? I do. It is actually the one chore that I enjoy doing, even though these days it seems like the laundry never ends!

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? James has always slept on the right side, who knows how that came about? I get the nightstand for the moniter, my water, phone, lamp, etc etc etc....
9. Who pays the bills? James does! I am pretty oblivious to our bank account but he told me I am going to have to start paying some...Rude!
10. Who cooks more? I am definitly the cook but James always mans the BBQ because I am afraid that it is going to blow me up :-0

11. What meals do you cook together? Good question! Um I guess the only time we really cook to gether is when we BBQ. Usually He cooks breakfast on Sunday when I am too lazy to get out of bed!
12. Who is more stubborn? ME!!!!! without a question! I think this drives James crazy but I take after my Dad!
13. Who is the first to admit it when they are wrong? James! This goes along with the whole stubborn thing I think. James is so great at talking things out and not holding on to grudges or fights!

14. Who is more clean? We are about the same I think. These days I feel like I am a total disaster though, Lacey what was that cleaning ladies number again??? :-)
15. Who has more siblings? Me! I have 3 younger brothers and 3 younger sisters and James has 3 Older brothers.
16. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I think we are pretty equal

17. What do you like to do together? We love going out to eat, watch our lame reality TV shows (the Hills, Laguna Beach, you get the picture) going to St. George, And mostly spend time with our two sweet little kiddos!!!!

18. Who eats more sweets? Me! The Cook family is notorious for our terrible sweet addiction, I get it from my Mom!

19. Guilty pleasures? James' are Coke!!!!, smartees suckers, The First 48, Sports ( I don't think he feels guilty about it though), Naps (which are very hard to come by these days) having internet on his phone and these days Rock Band!!! Mine are: Blogging, buying clothes for my kids, The Office (just started back up again, YAY!!!) and carbs ( I just can't narrow it down there are too many to list)

20. How did you meet? I was 15 and a Sophomore in High School. It was my second day in Sister Morgans Seminary class and James transfered in! I thought he was so cute :-) She introduced him as Moses (his nickname is Mo) and I thought that was his actual name. We spent the rest of the trimester staring at each other from across the room (I was shy). I think the first time we talked was when he called me at my house to hang out (these were the days before cell phones) and we held hands for the first time on Halloween.....the rest is history!

21. Who asked who out first? On a date? Well James asked me to Christmas dance our Sophomore year. I was only 15 and of course wasn't allowed to go to dances until I was 16. He came to our house, dropped off his stuff on my front porch and ran. My dad was pretty clueless and didn't know what was going on, thought someone was trying to vandalize our house so he got in his car and chased James down! I could have died of embarassment! To make matters worse my Dad called James the next morning before school to appologize. I thought my life was over, needless to say I went to the dance. I guess it wasn't quite as bad as the time my Dad announced my sisters first kiss over the pulpit is sacrament meeting! My sweet Dad, he really means well!!!

22. Who kissed who first? James kissed me! Sophomore year, we are cruising in the Escort, Lisa Loebs "I Do" playing in the background. We pull up to my house, akward pause. I go to unbuckle my seat belt as he leans in for the kill, I don't know what to do (it was my first kiss) I quickly peck his teeth and jump out of the car. I was so embarassed, I think I told him thank you before I ran into my house.

23. Who proposed? James! I knew it was coming cause we had already picked out the ring and everything but we went on a hike up Bell Canyon. We hiked to the very top and were almost all the way down. We crossed over the bridge and he stopped to give me a hug. I thought the bridge was shaking but it was him :-) He got down on his knee and pulled out the ring! It was sooo sweet!

24. What is his best feature? The thing that attracted me to him from the first time I saw him was his smile! Sounds cheesy but is so true!
25. What is his best quality? James has so many great qualities! He always tries to make me laugh, he is so goofy and doesn't care what people think, he is very outgoing and can talk to anyone! Is is very sweet and always hleps out around the house, he is such a hard worker and so motivated to provide for our family, and best of all his is an awesome husband and an amazing Dad!!! He loves his kids so much and would do anything in the world for our family! Love you Hun!!!

Now I tag: Shanda, Rachel, Jenny, Mel Faye, Kristi and anyone who hasn't already done it!!!!!!!!

Early Puberty?

Today I was over at my parents house and, as usual Kaden disapeared. I searched only to find him standing in my parents shower pretending to shave his face. I looked closer to see that he had taken the actual razor and tried to shave, like Daddy I am assuming. He had a huge scrape across his cheek, I felt so bad! We got a bandaid and made it all better, but I just have to laugh that he really watches James and wants to copy everything that he does! I guess it is cute until they get hurt, maybe I just need to watch him better ?!!

Poor guy

Here is Payton, she is growing up soooo fast. As her cheeks get chubbier she reminds me more and more of Kaden as a baby. She is so good, sleeping pretty great and that is great for me!

BOwLinG!!!!

What a night! I didn't realize how crazy it would be, but we had so much FUN! The night got off to a rough start when we got to Fat Cats and I realized I forgot to bring shoes for myself. Yes, I went to dinner barefoot. I am brainless these days, but at least we were just going bowling. I only lost Kaden 1 time (thanks nice Fat Cats employee for returning my son to me before I had a breakdown). Kaden loooooooooves bowling, tries to talk me into going to the bowling alley nearly every day so I thought it would be fun! And it was!

Heres my boy, he insists on throwing the ball himself. After a running start he just lets it crash onto the lane. Luckily they had 5 pound balls so he wasn't quite so dangerous.

Ava is such a sweetheart!!! It was her first time bowling and she didn't know what to think. One hour and 3 frames later she sort of lost interest but can you blame her?

Lexi was cracking me up, she was soooo obsessed with the balls and running all over the lanes. I loved it!

Hadley wasn't quite big enough to bowl the ball so she just tried to knock the pins over herself :-) Morgan got a workout chasing that girl up and down the lanes all night!!!

The "Big" kids Hadley, Kaden, Ava and Lexi

My two handsome boys!
The Little Kids, Slade Presley and Payton
Payton loved bowling sooooo much, can't you tell?
Kaden's a pro, look a that form!
Finally awake for the first time in a week! This girl sleeps more than any baby I know!

Easter Weekend...

A week late, but here are the pictures! We had a really good Easter weekend this year, Kaden was so excited about the eggs (he has a weird obsession with eggs, he always wants to crack them) and for the Easter Bunny to come! Saturday morning we took them down to Thanksgiving Point for the Easter Egg Hunt. They had activities for kids and a big easter egg hunt for all the different age groups. We got there at 9:00 am and it was FREEZING! We quickly did a few activities with Kaden, and as soon as the egg hunt was over we were out of there!

Kaden got a race car painted on his face

James had to leave early to get to work so Todd took Kaden on the Easter Egg hunt! There were about a million kids out there, they were lucky to get a bunch of eggs! Todd said that Kaden only wanted to get the pink eggs, hmmm.....

Had to get some hot chocolate to warm up before we froze!!!

We had a neighborhood party that afternoon at the park. Kaden still couldn't figure out that you are supposed to find the eggs and put them in your basket, I had to follow him around, point the eggs out and tell him what to do with it. I guess this whole easter thing is a little new to him....

Dying Eggs..

The Easter Bunny brought Kaden some big boy underwear. I think it is about that time, Ahhhhh!
Easter Sunday, my two kiddos! Payton looked so cute in her Easter dresss that Kaden couldn't resist giving his little sis a kiss!

My new Golf Club!

Today was a great day for Kaden because he got to go pick up his new golf club that Grandpa Scott had ordered for him! My dad is so sweet, he took Kaden to the golf store the other day while we were having a shower for my cousin Jenn. Kaden for some reason golfs left handed so my dad ordered him in a lefty golf club that was just his size. Lately he has had an intense obsession with golfing.... aside from his obsession with basketball, bowling and pretend football. Every time we are at my parents he heads straight outside to hit the golfballs with clubs that are twice his size, so at least now he can head straight outside with a club that actually fits him! It is funny how boys are naturally so drawn to sports! I love it, I just can't wait until it is warm enough for Kaden to swing that club somewhere other than my hardwood floor, I can't count how many times a day I am yelling "only on the carpet!!!" Thanks Dad!!!

Welcome Home Drew!!!

I just wanted to do an update on a post that I wrote a few months ago on my cousin Jenn, her husband Eric and their little baby Drew. This week sweet little Drew was able to come home from the hospital! I know a lot of people have been following their story and it is a truly amazing one. Little Drew was unexpectedly born at 24 weeks weighing one pound four ounces. No matter what challenge was put in front of them Jenn and Eric were true examples of faith, patience, hope, determination, the list goes on and on! They have spent every day of the last four months traveling to the hospital to be with their little guy. They tell the story of their journey much better than I could ever tell it on their own family blog, but I really just wanted to express my excitement and love for the Towner Family and to say Welcome Home Drew!!!!
