Assume Position

The other day I had taken the car seat out and it was sitting in my front entry way. I came out to find Kaden relaxing in the seat, arms above head. It is so funny but he always does this, mostly when he is tired and about ready to fall asleep. He has done this since I can remember so I thought I would post a few pics I had of him doing this :-)

Don't ya just want to kiss those juicy lips???

I also caught Payton napping with her arms up today so maybe it just runs in the family :-)

the driving range...

We headed up to Mulligans for a little FHE the other night to hit some golf balls. Well, Kaden and James hit balls and I attempted to hit a ball.

Kaden insisted on wearing one of James golf gloves that was way too big for him, but you can't say no to a 2-year old :-)

Daddy helping Kaden with his swing

Hmmm, does Payton hate golf or just the camera???
Maybe both?
We couldn't leave without hitting in the sand trap!

Happy Fathers Day!

Belated, but I couldn't let the week go by without telling all the wonderful men in my life how much I love and apprecitate them! Happy Fathers DAy!!!

James is the most wonderful Daddy to both Kaden and Payton! And I couldn't ask for a more loving, patient, hard working Husband! Love ya!!!

Breakthrough!!!

I just had to document my nights success! You may think I am lame for being so excited, but I finally got Payton to take a bottle tonight! After an hour of her screaming with the bottle down her throat she finally gave in and drank the whole thing. I have had serious anxiety (as some of you know) about leaving her for more than a few hours because she is litterally attached to me, but I am now seeing light at the end of the tunnel :-) Kaden never took a bottle and it was AWFUL, so I am so thrilled to see that I may be able to break the cylcle. Yay!

I'm a BiG GirL!

This weekend Payton took a trip to the mall with her buddies Hadley and Reese to get their ears pierced! I have been wanting to do it for a while so once Payton was three months old we went for it! I was a little nervous but it wasn't so bad. We had a super grouchy employee who hated us after Morgan and I quizzed her on her experience and qualifications but she did a good job, at least no unwanted holes in unwanted places.....

Before....

During....

AFTER!!!!

She was feeling a little emotional and started crying when the girl dotted her ears with the marker, so you can imaging how sad she was when they put the earings in! It broke my heart but she only cried for a few minutes, then pouted for a few more.

Hadley was happy once she got her sucker

Reese did wonderful! She cried for about a minute then was back to her happy-baby self!

FINaLLY an UPDaTE

Here are some new pics! I know I am a slacker but come on, I just had baby number 2 and am still trying to find that balance between being a mom and doing things that I enjoy....like blogging! So here I am at 11:30 at night, six posts later. I still have pictures of Paytons blessing and some other random ones but those will have to come later. Hope you enjoy!

Congrats Meg!

Well, after being in St. George all weekend I decided to take yet another trip down Saturday to go to Megans wedding. I dragged Melissa with me and we had a great time! Megans wedding was beautiful, she looked beautiful and it was soooo great to see her!

Okay, you may think Melissa and I are are pretty lame but we reminisced on old times, visited our old apartment at Raintree (ghetto) where we met and became the best of friends!

This ones for you Shanda and Stacie!

C 6 at the Wedge.....what more can I say! This one is for James and Russ :)

I just had to say Bye to the Egbert family who have up and moved to Omaha, Nebraska! How Rude! Well I guess they do have a good reason being that Jon is going to dental school but I have a feeling they will be back soon (snakes, tornados, weird bugs.....). They won't be back to Utah for about six years and Jenny I am going to miss you!!!!! Itried to dig up an embarassing picture of Jenny to post but that will have to come later! So much to do, so little time!

St. George....again

Over Memorial Day weekend we headed down to St. George for a little vacation. For those of you who were down there you know it wasn't quite the greatest weather but we were still able to sneak in a little time at the pool....or hot tub I guess

I love how Hadley had two binkies with her at all times the entire trip, she is such a cutie!!!

Kaden is pretty heavy if you can't already tell from the look on James face :-)
