Family Pictures

This week we had our family pictures taken! The morning was a bit chaotic being that we had to have the pictures taken before James went to work, that meant a really early wake up for Kaden. He was very grouchy and uncooperative, we had to bribe him with everything imaginable to mankind (fruit snacks, cookies, chocolate milk, chocolate cookies, going to the golf store, watching TV etc. etc. etc........... the list goes on) Not a smart idea, however despite my toddlers bad mood she was able to get some really sweet pictures! She does such a wonderful job, you can check her out at www.fausetphotography.com Here are some of my favorites:

One Week!

This week has really flown by! It makes me realize how quickly time flew by with Kaden, how quickly they grown. I love being a mother of two! It is amazing to have a new baby in our family, and a totally new experience to have a girl. I absolutly LOVE it! Kaden love his new little sis BUT, as some of you with multiple kids may have already experienced, has been screaming (literally screaming) for attention. He is super grouchy and I honestly can't blame him. I have been slightly out of commision because of my c-section and haven't been able to give him the attention I would like to of. But tomorrow's a new day! I just had to post some pictures of Payton in her first week home. She is such a good baby, other than the fact that she will not eat for more that 30 seconds at a time, but we will work on that.....

Aunt Ash gave Payton her first manicure... don't want to scratch up that pretty face!

Kaden my love bug wrestling with Mokie (who has also been suffering from attention withdrawls)

Our New Arrival!!!

Our Sweet little Payton Morzelewski has made her appearance!!!
She was born on March 1st weighing 7 pounds and 20.5 inches long!
We are finally home to post some pics, what a relief :-)

We were a bit suprised that she came into the world so early, being that my actual due date wasn't until around the 24th of March. I was scheduled to have a c-section on the 13th, but I guess Payton had her own plans :) We were out to dinner celebrating Morgans birthday when I started having contractions. We stopped by the hospital on our way home to make sure that everything was okay, but once I got there my contractions were so close together that they decided to keep me there! I was in complete shock; as most people know I had fully planned my schedule up until the day of my scheduled c-section! I was so positive I wouldn't go into labor before then! We checked in to the hospital around 8:30 p.m. and by 11:52 p.m. we had our sweet little girl! We couldn't be more thrilled!

Kaden was asleep when we got to the hospital and was knocked out cold throughout most of the night. Too much excitement I guess

James got to wear this sweet outfit into the operating room, when did they do away with the scrubs?

Payton had to spend the first 22 hours in the NICU so I was soooo anxious to have her all to myself!

Kaden love his little sis! All he has talked about for the past couple of months has been giving her a binky, rocking her, giving her kisses. He is so sweet.

Jenny and I together in the hospital! Bo was born only 3 days after Payton, so I made my way down to Jenny's delivery room to cheer her on...

Jenny was only 4 rooms down from me, so we got to spend a day in the hospital together before I went home! Di was also there to deliver Reese the same day as me, she was only a couple rooms away too! I guess it was a popular time for babies!

Payton and Bo

Finally going home! 5 days in the hospital is plenty for me!

Mmmmmm, Apples

My living room is a bit of a disaster area right now! We sold our couches and they came and picked them up last week, but our new couches are yet to arrive! I took advantage of the open space and let Kaden set up his tent/tunnel set to play in. He then pulled out all the toys to toss into the tunnels. What a mess....well I let him have some apples with caramel dip yesterday while I was getting ready. When I came out a couple minutes later I couldn't find him, but then spotted one of the tunnels standing upright. I peeked in and found this! He was being sneaky because he knows he isn't supposed to eat anywhere other than the kitchen. Little stinker...

Kaden, the Artist

So last night I went and picked up some pink paint to test out a color for the nursery. As I was brushing the color on the wall Kaden was obviously interested and wanted to help out, so I made the mistake of letting him take the brush and painting a little bit on the wall.....and leaving the paint (the lid closed of course) on the floor in the bedroom. This morning James walked in to find that Kaden had pried the paint bucket open and proceeded to paint all over the walls and doors in the nursery, down the hall, the bathroom and his bedroom. Not to mention a huge portion of the CARPET, the brand new WHITE rug I just bought for the nursery, the shelf, several of his toys, our dog Mokie and himself. I felt bad getting mad at him, it really was my own fault for leaving the paint out, and plus he was so proud of himself! Needless to say, we were able to get the paint off the walls, though most of the toys went in the garbage. I was lucky to find a carpet cleaner that was nice enough to come out within 25 minutes of my desperate phone call. I'm sure I am yet to find many marks of this artistic adventure, but for now....disaster averted

Poor Mokie.... you can't see it from the picture but he has paint all over his back

This wall actually got the least of it but I didn't pull my camera out until most of the paint was cleaned up

Yuck
Thanks Kelly's Deep Clean!
