Yesterday was Steph Jacksons wedding to Brandon Donavan so James, Kaden and I traveled up to Pineview Resevoir for the ceremony. It was a beautiful drive, the leaves were changing and the mountains looked so amazing! I should have gotten a picture. Anyway, the wedding was on the beach and Kaden had a blast looking for rocks and sticks and getting his nice clean clothes filthy dirty in the sand! We had a good time, the weather was beautiful compared to today (no snow!) other than a little wind, or maybe a lot of wind.....

Farewell Summer

So I do realize it has been 2 months since my last posting and I will try from this day on to be a more diligent blogger! This summer has been so crazy with so many big changes for our family! We were finally able to move into our new home last month and I have been attempting to get settled in ever since. The Ferrans just moved in next door and we couldn't be more excited!!! We found out that we are expecting baby #2 in March and are sooooo anxious.

This one has definitly been slowing me down but it is all well worth it!

Kaden is almost 2, next month. I t is crazy how fast time goes by!

So this was our last trip to Lake Powell for the summer. I love it there more than any place in the world I think. James wasn't able to come because of his busy work schedule and we missed him a lot!!!

My Uncle John took Kaden down the slide off the back of the houseboat. He actually loved it after the initial shock of going under the water and wanted to do it again!

24th of July

The 24th of July is one of my favorite holidays! Kaden has grown
an obsession with fireworks so we had so much fun! Kaden and Ava got to watch fireworks at Draper Days on Saturday, then on Tuesday we lit off some of our own fireworks at home!
Kaden watched the fireworks with Hadley, she was totally mesmorized! They were having a blast until the neighbors dog came over and tried to eat the fireworks while they were going off, it was pretty funny but Kaden was really upset!

Kaden at Discovery Park

I just recently had my wonderful friend Melissa take
pictures of Kaden at this awesome place called
Discovery Park. It is a really neat park out in Cedar Hills
that is made completely out of wood. It made for some

Last Morning to wake up with Kaden jumping on the bed.....


So the day actually came after much anticipation (on Greg and Jordans part) and many tears for the rest of us. Ashley and I ended up packing most of their stuff the morning of and Kaden jumped into their suitcase. We were only an hour and a half late to the MTC but we had to take our time to take some last pictures of course! We are so proud of them and know they will be awesome missionaries!!! The MTC was tough but we got our first letters and they are doing so good!

Bobsledding

The day before Greg and Jordan left, we all went up to

Park City to ride the Bobsleds.

It was a lot of fun,

I would highly recommend it to anyone that is up for a quick thrill!

It goes way fast you can barely control your body,

Cruise

We just got back from our Western Carribean cruise that we went on with some of our closest friends. It was so much fun, although we did have to leave Kaden home for a whole week! That was hard of course but it was fun for me and James to take a little trip alone!
